I received a message reminding me of the upcoming
"friendly" futsal match between the
"Babs" and the
"Cikahs" this coming Friday evening 7th September 2007.
The venue will be at Spotsplaza...I don't know exactly where it is...might be somewhere in Section 13 PJ...I hope.
Anyway, I am expecting a huge crowd (include spouse & children) will be present as our 1 year seniors, the "Babs", are looking forward to trash us for spoiling their chances of getting the Under 15 Football District Championship back in the year 1983 (that's what I heard of).
Yep! During the final match against....err...can't remember the opponent's team (that was 24 years ago dude!)...A free kick was given to the opponent team. An off-side trap was carefully set up by the MCKK team captain. Unfortunately, when the kick was taken, one of our defender (Kamal a.k.a Andy) who shadowed the top striker, were running to the side of the pitch made the linesman drop the off-side flag resulting an easy one-on-one with the last line of defense. It was a devastating blow as most of us looked at the smiling striker with championship joy.
Oh well, human makes mistakes. Let's hope that nothing too serious or too personel will happen on that day. It's
